It was so fun seeing how Hidan was recruited and seeing him interact with Kakuzu for the first time. Now we're back to the start of the story, this short flashback Itachi arc was very good, made me understand him even more with how he viewed death, conflict, clans and villages. The akatsuki part of it was what I always wanted to see

They never explained Hidan's immortality though, Orochimaru and Sasori were both going for immortality but Hidan just somehow possesses it, doesn't it means Hidan was immortal before Sasori's puppets and Orochimaru's reanimations?

yeah i dont think that was ever explained, maybe it has to do with his "religious way" of jashin
